• What we'll do
Wow! It's been six years since we first organized and began diving as a group, so it is time to celebrate with another great picnic and dive. In fact, let's add snorkeling and other aquatic fun (standup paddleboard and kayak) while we are at it. Most of all, let's just plan on getting together for a good safe time in and near the water.

We'll grab some tables right near the surf, set up beverages, and get the grills going. Those who arrive first can gear up and hit the water for an initial dive either to the reef or to Benji's Canyon, both of which also feature great snorkeling. It is still lobster season, so tickle sticks and nets may harvest some lobster for lunch!

The menu is potluck and we are lucky to have some great cooks among our divers. We'll have charcoal glowing on two grills, so burgers, chicken, ribs, sausages, and hot dogs are welcome. We'll start a list below to ensure no important items are overlooked. Tom and Liana will bring charcoal, cups, plates, and plastic utensils to get things started.

RENTAL GEAR IS AVAILABLE. Please give adequate notice so we can bring your gear to the site. If needing a BCD or wetsuit, please advise of size. Air tanks, $10; BCD, $15; Regulator sets, $15; weights (any amount), $5; mask/snorkel/fins, $15.
