Visibility is the strongest factor to consider this weekend, even as 3’ waves continue to pound the seaweed-laden shoreline. 4-6’ is the best you will find on the first reef, which is great for spearfishing but not so much for sightseeing. Considerable surge will sweep you back and forth, so stay well above and away from sharp and stinging corals. Expect much the same conditions later this week for mini-season. You should still be able to bag your 12 lobsters but you will earn every one you take home.
