We will have a bit of a moon and moderate seas to enjoy Tuesday evening. Visibility has been okay, so this promises to be a sweet and enjoyable dive, if conditions remain as forecast. If you have never done a night dive, this should be a great night to start. If you make arrangements, you can even count this dive toward your advanced diver rating.
We'll meet and gear up at the Dania Beach Grill. Remember, this is THE SOUTH END OF THE PARKING LOT. Divers MUST have a primary light and a backup light. We also recommend a tank marker or other personal illuminated marker (glowstick, etc.) Those needing a buddy may find one among the many other divers who will attend.
This dive ranges from 16 to 25 feet in depth. Anyone not night qualified may work with instructor Tom to ensure proper training. Freshwater showers are available. Parking meters take cash and cards at $2 per hour. Refreshments are available after diving at the grill or at the nearby Quarterdeck Restaurant - provided we enter and exit in a timely manner.
RENTAL GEAR is available for this dive with sufficient notice (3 hrs before scheduled time). Air tanks, $10; BCD, $15; Reg set, $15; Weights, any amount, $5. Proof of Open Water or higher certification required.
