DAILY BEACH DIVER REPORT: 07-29-22

Of course, the day after mini-season, winds calm down to gentle summer breezes and the surf is an easy stroll in. Oh well, regular season opens on Aug 6, so there will be plenty of time to harvest through March 31. All reports are good for those who got in water clear enough to see the lobster. Most who tried got their limit or close to it and there are many more bugs remaining. Viz is still murky on the first reef, so expect 10-12’ at best and some strong surge and current to enjoy. Water is cozy 83F, when it is not 84-85, so keep that wetsuit thin or just board shorts and tee shirts. Remember, leave those lobsters lie because FWC is just as vigilant today as they were yesterday.
